the followup on my trying to keep the obsessed dogs out of the kitchen when I do anything, when my parents do anything. its been a while and I try hard to keep something to toss when they do good. or if they do it by them-self

they still come back in, I don't know how well i can do a sit-stay or just stay. keeping a pack of treats on my might make things worse, as the one seems to "beg" when I do dishes.
so, the'll have more reason to keep by my ankles/heels when in kitchen.

its not really where i'd like it. and blocking them out is impossable, the openings to the kitchen are 3 ways. and we have no crates "it's mean". and they follow me when i get a drink, do anything.

they come back if you accident step on them. if i push them out they come back in.

I think it's been a month or two. my stepdad is finally trying and mom dosen't care/ignores. you shoo them away with feet, they come back. you gently bop them they just want to walk into your feet again.

i had a command and a word but...maybe they -are- too old and set in the ways. and no one else made an effort. is it i have no confidante? they don't respect me? they are senile?

giving them a treat when they -get out- works only for so long and them come back. or they get bord and come back in. rarely do they get bord and leave.

they stay in hopes, even flour falls on the floor to eat.

You have to be more assertive. If a child wanted to play with the stove, you would make sure they understood in no uncertain terms that that behavior is not allowed. Same with dogs, place yourself in front of the dog and give a firm "touch" to the ribs and a sharp "out!" If the dogs is too slow to respond just herd them out. If the two of them are too much, put one in another room and train one at a time. Just go in the kitchen and wait for the dog to cross the line. Make your correction as often as they cross that line. Be calm, be confident, be consistent. This will work, just stick to it.
