To answer ZombieSlayer762 question. No they don’t become mindless machines. You have to make the training fun, so that they want to do it. You are not looking to create a robot, in fact when we are not training he is just a regular dog. You want the control reliable so when you need it, its there. The person and dog in the video is me. He was a rescue out of animal control in Hammond In. I picked him up on his last day, he was scheduled to be put down and he was already 1.5 yrs when I got him.
…i love pits…ppl suck…they should kill the owners when their pit bites, not the poor dog!

Americans have a long way to go before we can breed a well balanced K-9 for work. But these dogs exemplify a positive step towards a legit working breed that is American breed.
If we continue in this direction, we may be able to actually win competitive shows and even start a few successful bloodlines that can compete against the Europeans and other countries.
MzTexasRaised, and everyone else. I’m fully aware of the branching off of, from what is APBT, Truth be told I could give a rats ass =). Theirs only one APBT, and that’s APBT that came from Game bloodlines, tried and tested.
With that said, They really need to start reclassifying this breed and assign a new name for this breed.
BTW, Im very impress by your spell check capabilities on how to spell pitbulls, or what ever the hell they call them. My intrest is in German Breed working dogs
@noonex4 They both, are regular American Pit Bull Terriers . You can find several in ur local Shelter . Seriously ! Ask for the 1′s in the back- they are the ones who will be euthenized that day . Puppies & all .
@aky19832001 LoL, a cross between a Pit who has a Rednose & a Pit who has a Blue is still a PIT. Just because a dog has a Blue Nose or Coloration doesn’t mean it is an American Bully . Neither 1 of those dogs resemble an American bully . The 2nd dog looks just like my Kayne, body & all. He only weights 68lbs- which is a Standard to APBTs . LoL @ 100% Rednose- there is no such thing .
FYI : It is American Pit Bull Terrier(4 words, not 3 ), not pitbull. That is a rapper.
